My Grandfather, Alfred Ethelbert Moore's mother was Lucy Jane Small, the grand daughter of Matthew Hughes (see the Hughes page) and great grand daughter of John and Mary Small.

John Small and his wife to be, Mary Parker were members of the First Fleet that arrived in Sydney Cove on that first Australia Day.
